Osteopathy for Headaches and Migraines
Headaches are so common that it is thought only about 2% of the population will be able to say they’ve never had a headache. There are several different causes of headache, most of which are very responsive to manual treatment such as Osteopathy.
Before I dive into detail though I will point out now that though the majority of headaches are benign, they can occasionally indicate a serious illness such as a brain tumour or aneurysm and there are certain warning signs that require immediate investigation from your doctor:
- Development of a sudden or new headache, that differs from your “normal” headache
Osteopathy and Golf Injuries
Well it is that time of year where golfing season is just about back into full swing (no pun intended), so it may be time to ensure your body is as well. You may have a few ongoing niggles you’d like to be rid of, or some more debilitating injuries that (god forbid) may be keeping you off the golf course all together.
As a (bad) golfer myself, I am aware of the tolls this dangerous sport can have on one’s body. There are a few key injuries to be aware of, to take them seriously and seek treatment early on, to prevent them interrupting your game for longer than necessary.
